Meet the CFSI Team!

GOVERNANCE

Frank Taylor serves as President of both CFSI and ACMC. Frank is a lifetime resident of the Spokane area and has spent many years in retail sales, aircraft maintenance, and public utilities. In 2004 Frank founded his own mortgage brokerage and moved his business to ACMC when it was purchased by CFSI in 2004. Currently filling the role of Acceptance Capital's president, Frank is also a part of the Acceptance Capital Home Branch Retail Center, broker of record in multiple states, and a major investor in CFSI.  

Michael Hines serves as Treasurer of ACMC. Mike earned degrees in Business Administration (finance) and Economics in 1998 and immediately put his education to work in insurance and financial planning. In 2004 Mike co-founded ACMC and served the company well in several different executive roles. In addition to his role on the ACMC Board Mike is currently managing an ACMC branch and is a successful loan originator.

Craig Benson serves as Secretary and Director of CFSI. Craig graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Economics in 1980 and has three years experience as an account executive with a national financial services brokerage and six years as a marketing executive with a Fortune 500 company. Craig also serves society as a volunteer at the Spokane Dream Center Church where he is a live-in Assistant Pastor teaching/mentoring and father figure to troubled teenage boys and adult males with drug, alcohol or criminal backgrounds who are striving to start living more productive, satisfied lives.

Allen Ringer served as President, CEO, and Director of CFSI until late 2009 when he retired as an active participant in Governance activities. He still leads our branch recruiting activities and liaises with our major Investors, as well as providing mentoring and support to our governance team.  From 1989 to October 1999, Mr. Ringer was CEO and a director of LION, Inc. (formerly Plenum Communications, Inc.), an Internet-based provider of wholesale mortgage information. From 1987 to February 1990, Mr. Ringer managed the operations of Mortgage Brokers Network, Inc., an electronic mortgage brokerage company which originated mortgage loan applications. From 1978 to 1986, Mr. Ringer operated United Farm Agency, a real estate brokerage firm in Colville, Washington. Mr. Ringer has participated as a founder in several diverse business start-ups including real estate development and home construction businesses, including serving as founder and President of PlenTech Electronics, Inc.

Management & Staff

OPERATIONS

Brian Turlock serves as Chief Operations Officer for CFSI and is management’s representative on the Governance committee. Under contract from CFSI he currently provides management services for ACMC. Brian comes to CFSI with 27 years in the financial services industry; his most notable role was 14 years leading the Operations side of a multiple branch credit union in Canada that offered cored banking, general insurance, and financial planning services. In addition to a strong background in both commercial and retail lending he worked closely with the credit union’s Board on governance and regulatory issues and represented the credit union on matters relating to system strategic and tactical planning. Under Brian’s leadership the credit union enjoyed consistent profitability and stability while maintaining above average performance on compliance and regulatory requirements. The credit union was and continues to be a sound and secure financial institution and a well respected corporate citizen in its community.

Jennifer Pierce serves as Chief Operations Officer of ACMC. Ms. Pierce has over ten years experience in wholesale and retail mortgage loan processing and closing. Ms. Pierce started her career with AlliancePro and its predecessors, where she advanced to V.P. and COO, and has recently taken over management of internal components of ACMC

Buddy White serves as Director of Originations of ACMC. Buddy is an accomplished Mortgage Executive with 18+ years experience in mortgage lending and business development, with his most recent 9 years as a Senior Account Executive at a prestigious 10,000+ employee company. His career includes success in developing accounts, strategic marketing, and solution selling that annually generates personal production of over $100 million in loans in a highly competitive market. Buddy has been recognized for his ability to build and influence relationships with key management personnel and establish high revenue accounts. He is well versed in sales lifecycles and is a skilled strategist/negotiator/motivator. Buddy's experience includes performance as an active partner of lateral networking with business-to-business resources. He is an exceptional trainer and mentor with skills to motivate individual performance resulting in team building while driving sustained growth in revenues.

Chris Hamlin serves as Processing Manager for AlliancePro Processing and is this company’s President. Chris has been part of Acceptance Capital as a Loan Processor since its inception. His expertise on the processing side made him a natural fit to lead the growth and development of the AlliancePro processing staff when ACMC and AlliancePro joined forces in 2007.

Michelle Hazen serves as Licensing Coordinator.  Michelle has 4 years experience in the compliance and closing of mortgage transactions.  Her always friendly and helpful attitude makes big things seem small.  Her attention to detail is unimpeachable so you know if Michelle has done it then it was done correctly.

Shadda Lee serves in the Branch Services department.  She makes sure each branch has what they need to conduct business.  Shadda has over ten years with the Company and it's subsidiaries with most of that in the closing department.

Heidi Taylor serves as the Compliance Coordinator in the Branch Services Department and works double duty as the company’s Correspondent Loan Coordinator.  Heidi has over 19 years experience as a mortgage professional working in all facets of the industry including loan origination, underwriting FHA insured loans, and quality control manager.  With a positive up-beat attitude, Heidi has demonstrated a strong drive to achieve results for the company by digging in to get the job done.

FINANCE

Jeff Kavadias serves as CFO and Treasurer of CFSI. Jeff received both a B.A. and Master’s degrees in accounting/taxation and is currently the President/Owner of his own accounting firm. Jeff's background experience includes three years as comptroller, two years as COO and four years as CFO at local diverse firms. Jeff teaches an Introduction to Accounting course at a local university and also does volunteer work for the local Economic Development Council and Chamber of Commerce. Jeff’s background includes a senior accounting role with a multi-billion dollar state bank.

Rob Johnston serves as Accountant for CFSI. Rob manages the day-to-day accounting operation for all CFSI companies. After obtaining his Accounting degree from Eastern Washington University Rob operated his own business for 10 years. In the mortgage industry since 2001, Rob still finds time to do the bookkeeping for his local church on a volunteer basis. Rob enjoys working with our managers and loves to help people.

Kris Wieber serves as Payroll Processing Coordinator. She has been with the company since its inception and has filled many roles with ACMC and AlliancePro. Kris has many years of experience in diverse entrepreneurial business and makes difficult tasks seem easy and run smoothly. Never angry, always steady, and Kris makes everyone she interfaces with look good. 

ENGINEERING & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Jeff Shepherd serves as the Systems Engineer for CFSI and multiple subsidiaries. Jeff graduated magna cum laude with a B.Sci. in Computer Engineering Technology from Eastern Washington University. Prior experience includes the design and development of software and hardware for a local electronics manufacturer and the operation and maintenance of nuclear power plants for the U.S. Navy. Jeff also currently serves as the Ombudsman for the local chapter of Mensa.

Ace Taylor serves as IT Assistant to Jeff Shepherd for CFSI and multiple subsidiaries. Ace graduated from Deer Park High School as Valedictorian in 2009 and is currently working towards B.Sci.'s in Computer Science and Mathematics at Whitworth University. His prior experience includes managing his home network and helping friends and family members with their computer problems. He is also currently a member of the Whitworth chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery.
